The cake, made by my cousin Janice Crossen was almond flavored white cake on the bottom, with Grand Marnier flavored filling. Vanilla flavored in the middle and top.
On the left is my wonderful cousin Nancy Cafarella Bailey. One of my favorite people really. She still likes me(I think) in spite of all my strange ways. Miranda is a Ballerina(retired) and is heavily involved in dance all around the eastern half of the state. She plans to relocate eventually, to Nashua, New Hampshire and I expect she will teach dance there. Nancy had a background in set and costume design, and has always been heavily involved in the dance companies that Miranda was in. Miranda was in a dance company in Columbia North Carolina for a number of years and has moved back to Mass. since her retirement.
Presently, Nancy works as a massage therapist in the Maynard area.
Mildred Cafarella Sinor has settled into a nice life in the Albany, New York area, living next to her daughter with her husband John. Both are wonderfully pleasant people. Mildred has grand children and now great grand children at her house almost daily...I think it keeps her young. Her father was Lawrence Cafarella. They drove all the way from Albany to Mansfield and back again for the ceremony.
Marianne Staples is the new Town Clerk in Mansfield, Ma. As the Justice of the Peace for our wedding, she was wonderfully patient, and kind. She tailored the service to us, and didn't eat any food while she was there...well, we all have our faults. In the background is John's sister Sally Kelly, and just a little peek of my niece Diane Burrill, from Brunswick, Maine.
Marianne readying herself for the service. As usual, we were late!
From left to right, we have Samantha Kelly(John's great niece), Tim Kelly(John's nephew)a little extra head on my cousin John Cafarella's shoulder, My cousin Jennie DeFina, her son Richard, My cousin Nancy Cafarella Bailey, who also has a head fragment on her shoulder and Miranda Bailey(Nancy's daughter, who is almost completely blocking John's(and my) friend Judy.
Bill and John, please join hands so you may feel the gift that these hands are to you.
Marriage is an honorable estate, and therefore, not to be entered into lightly, but with careful reflection and reverence, union of love, honor and most importantly, trust between you both, Today, as you join yourselves in marriage, you stand apart from all others as you pledge your love and commitment to one another.

As each day passes, may you gain love and strength from each other. If difficult times arise, remember to exchange your anger for joy and tears for smiles. Always listen to each others' unspoken words and hear each others' meaning. Always love, help and respect each other and then know truly that you are one in the eyes of all.
No matter how your paths have brought you here today, it is your love that sustains the moment. As you give love, you will receive love and your hearts will become one.
Bill and John, have you come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves in marriage?
We have.
And you have given careful thought to the meaning of marriage?
We have.
John, do you promise to take Bill to be your lawfully wedded Husband? Do you promise to be kind to him in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, as long as you both shall live?
John: I do.
John, Please place the ring on Bill's finger and repeat after me:
I, John, take you Bill to be my lawfully wedded husband, to love and to honor, to comfort and cherish, in sickness and in health, in joy and in sorrow, from this day forward, I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.
